He Awoke Happy
The children of Wm. J. and Margaret Henry, of Ridge, gave their father
a pleasant surprises recently, on his sixty-eight birthday. While he
was napping, with no dream of what was going on, his son A. L. Henry
and William Carder gently lifted his body in to a new platform rocker,
a token of love and respect from sons and daughters. Of course he awoke
with a benediction. Here are some of this words:
Dear Children: May God bless you all! May the world be the
better for your living in it! May you every one be zealous
Christians
and strong Prohibitionists! I am glad that you
think of me so kindly.
