Saturday being Mr. and Mrs. Buckner Askins’ fiftieth
wedding anniversary, their children and grandchildren came to their
home Sunday to celebrate the event.
Amos Askins who has been confined to his bed for the past
six months is not much improved at this writing.
T. A. and Burt Askins were business visitors in
Shelbyville Saturday.
John Hayward met with a very painful accident one day last week
while driving a team to unload hay the single-tree breaking and hitting
him on the hand, breaking some of his bones.
This community was saddened by the news of the death of
Tom Moore, Saturday evening. Not many of his friends knew he was
sick until they heard of his death. He had been a lifelong resident of
this vicinity.
David Seeley had his silo filled one day last week.
Isacac Finks of Iowa
is visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Finks this week.
